Lintott is steadfast in championing environmental best practice.  Developed over many years, Lintott has an integrated Business Quality Management System, certified to the International Environmental Standard, ISO 14001.  A programme of continuous improvement and stretching targets has enabled Lintott to reduce its operational carbon impact by 9% over each of the last seven years! This includes activities such as converting the fleet to hybrid vehicles as well as comprehensive and growing energy efficiency measures.

Specifically, these seek to reduce the demand for energy via improved schemes and best practice. But it doesn’t stop there! Lintott is also in the process of developing an onsite wildlife sanctuary – known as “Barnabee Meadow”.  This includes fresh plants, a large pond, bug factory, bird boxes, and an extensive garden area complete with picnic benches, which provides a rest and relaxation area for employees and visitors.
