Lintott Control Systems is delighted to support International Women in Engineering day, an awareness campaign founded by Women’s Engineering Society that highlights the role of women in the engineering industry and the career opportunities for women in this sector.

It is a fact that Industry is facing a skills crisis & more engineers & technicians are required to help stoke creativity & the economy. Figures as of June 2021 show that 16.5% of engineers are women, INWED gives women engineers around the world a profile when they are still hugely under-represented in their professions. Lintott holds the view that it is vital for businesses, learning institutions & other partners to work collaboratively to inspire future generations to forge a career in a STEM-based (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) profession.
