The University of East Anglia’s “UEA” forthcoming £7.4M state-of-the-art Institute of Productivity “IoP” will be a centre of excellence for engineering, technology & management.  It will facilitate collaborative advancements in management, robotics, 3D printing & digital design for local manufacturers, businesses & Higher & Further Education students.

On 23^rd September, Jamie Thums (Lintott COO, IoP co-originator & Chair of the New Anglia Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering sector group) joined Chris Starkie (CEO, New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership) Professor Fiona Lettice (Pro-Vice-Chancellor Research & Innovation, UEA) & Professor Lawrence Coates (Professor of Engineering, UEA) in presenting to regional businesses & partners the next phase of the project. This involves partners helping to ‘shape’ the nature of the IoP to optimise stakeholder benefit.
