Supporting Mental Health Awareness Week – ‘Nature’

Lintott is committed to promoting the awareness of Mental Health & supports Mental Health Awareness Week with its theme of ‘Nature’.  With 1 in 4 people experiencing a mental health problem of some kind each year in England, it is important to raise awareness and support those who need it.  Lintott boasts; 2 Mental Health First Aiders, 3 Mental Health Champions & 4 Workplace Health Champions, all of whom help support mental health awareness & its importance for a healthier, happier workforce.  This week, colleagues have been wearing green to help promote & support mental health awareness week.

In 2019 Lintott’s colleagues began work on an environmental & nature project; aptly titled “Barnabee Meadow(reflecting Norfolk’s name for a ladybird, known as a “Bishy Barnabee”).  To date, this includes the planting of shrubs, grasses & alpines, a grassland, bug factory, an assortment of bird boxes, pond area, flowered wall trellis, a fenced-off walkway, strawberry planter, & an outside seating area.  As well as being a sanctuary which seeks to promote local wildlife, Barnabee Meadow provides a rest area for both colleagues & visitors.
