Ground-breaking end-to-end digitisation

3 years in the making, Lintott has now fully launched its industry-defining & award winning Digital Delivery Suite, i-Catalyst¼ (accessible via Lintott’s web-portal).

i-Catalyst¼ consists of a collection of integrated software-based collaborative tools, which enable both the client & company personnel to work together to plan, design, build & to deliver products, as well as to maximise equipment up time once in the field – collectively giving rise to dramatic benefits! The cornerstone of the suite is the “Lin-finity Builder” platform. This is an on-line full design application which enables electrical control panels & ICA sections to be designed / configured in a highly intuitive & automated environment – resulting in a major reduction in time & cost. A similar application for dosing products will be available very soon. Watch this space!

Lintott honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation…

Digital pioneer, Lintott Control Systems Limited, is honoured to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2018. Just 5 months earlier, the Company was proclaimed “Business of the Year” at the 2017 EDP Business Awards. The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious business awards, given only to companies or individuals who are outstanding in their field.

Since 2015, Lintott has been developing a ground-breaking Digital Delivery Suite, known as i-CatalystÂź. The cornerstone of the Suite is an online design tool, which enables both internal & external users to design Motor Control Centre products within a highly intuitive & automated environment. Electrical schematics, general arrangement drawings, bill of materials & user manuals are all produced automatically.

Full visibility of the price is enabled, along with the option to purchase. The application radically reduces the design phase, from tens of days to hours. But it doesn’t stop there: The Suite also comprises aligned digital tools, including a production planning application, project delivery portal & an application to support the operability & maintenance of products whilst in service.

Added Value: Yorkshire Water

Working collaboratively with Morrison Utility Services, Lintott Control Systems was awarded Yorkshire Water’s AMP6 Pontefract Lane ‘Position Control Valve’ project (part of the Leeds Calm Network scheme). Although the client provided an incumbent design concept, as a direct result of Lintott’s Value Strategy (which includes the specific application of design for manufacture, assembly & maintenance principles), the Company’s Technical Function provided a re-engineered solution to the delight of the client! This included combining three previously separate “Form 1” control panels within a “Form 4” design, alongside the removal of a prior complex conduit scheme & significantly reduced field cabling.

Adding such value fuelled by ground-breaking design digitisation & automation (reducing design time from weeks to days & even hours) & a growing service & aftercare proposition is everyday practice! To discover more, please contact: media@lintottcs.co.uk. We’d love to hear from you!

A UV disinfection system which hits the spot!

Lintott recently was awarded a multiple unit supply contract for Anglian Water to supply packaged UV disinfection systems. This included a system which was built-off site, installed and commissioned at Anglian Water’s Beck Row Water Treatment Works. Beck Row is a village in Suffolk, England. The village is close to RAF Mildenhall and is home to about 3000 people. Lintott’s solution not only contributed to zero negative efficiencies, it eliminated on-site build costs – both recorded and endorsed by the client and just 2 examples pertaining to the benefits of build-off site. Pictured below is the system being lowered into place. For more information, please contact media@lintottcs.co.uk.
