Siemens adds to Industry Accelerator

The Accelerator, which was formally opened in September 2018, includes a suite of cutting-edge 3D-design stations & equipment.  Used by academic & training partners on a cost neutral basis, the facility enables students & trainees to experience a real-life & best-of-class workspace – thus enhancing the overall learning experience.  Supported by Lintott’s STEM Ambassadors & technical personnel, the six training kits enable partners to provide training on the latest Siemens control system platform – thank you to Siemens!  Training & academic partners include but are not limited to: East Coast College; the College of West Anglia; City College Norwich; West Suffolk College; & the University of East Anglia.

Lintott is thrilled to announce that the scope of its community-based Industry Accelerator Training Academy has grown with the kind donation of six Programmable Logic Control training kits from Siemens plc.

100% Clean Sweep!

Lintott has once again achieved a 100% clean-sweep (in all categories & both assessments) in the annual & external Achilles Verify Audit (Category B2).  Congratulations & huge thanks to colleagues & partners who have created & maintained this high standard!

The Verify Audit provides a higher level of pre-qualification assurance for buyers within the Utilities sector. The scheme enables buyers’ to access a suitably pre-qualified supply chain that they can invite to tender. The scheme is essentially a ‘passport’ to trade within the workspace.

Achieving a 100% score is a testament to Lintott’s strategy of improving at the fastest sustainable rate possible.  Fundamentally, this has been achieved by colleagues working diligently to ensure the Business Quality Management system is efficiently & effectively integrated across all processes & work practices.

Positively dissatisfied & based on further physical & digital developments, further improvements will follow – watch this space!
