Wellbeing Research

To help the ongoing development of its HRM programme, Lintott Control Systems is delighted to support & be part of the national Steering Group for “Practices & Combinations of Practices for Health & Wellbeing at Work”.  The Group is chaired by Dame Carol Black & the duration of the project is 2 years (led by the University of East Anglia & RAND).  Attended by Lintott COO, Jamie Thums, the first meeting took place in London early September.

The Company recognises that good health & well-being is a core enabler of employee engagement, & subsequently organisational performance.  This is reflected in Lintott’s HRM “Live Well, Work Well” system, which includes promoting wellbeing & fostering a positive & healthy working environment.

Aspiring Managers

People deserve the best leaders! With this in mind, Lintott regularly undertakes formal management training for current & aspiring managers. This directly underpins Lintott’s HRM strategy “to develop, engage & retain a high performing & diverse workforce”. Recently, 14 colleagues attended an externally ran, ILM accredited training course (Level 3).

People & Operations Manager, Elaine Woodrow commented, “I am delighted to again witness such a high number of colleagues build on their leadership capabilities & gain a range of key management skills. I look forward to working with each of them & in supporting those who wish to progress to the next level.”
