Lintott Social & Community Responsibilties

We recognise the importance of our social and community responsibilities.  We work closely alongside local Training Organisations, Schools and Colleges to provide career advice and opportunities for young people.  We employ Modern Apprenticeships and take Graduate Placements and Work experience placements. We recognise the need for sustainable growth in our recruitment activities.

Training – Lintott work very closely with a local engineering training organisation called Eagit.  As well as providing training for Lintott’s Modern Apprentices, Eagit are supported by Lintott in various ways including the re-use and recycling of surplus electrical products and components.

Charity – We are committed to working with our customers in support of the Charity WaterAid.  The Charity works to enable the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

College – Lintott have strong relationships covering 15 years partnership with the local College.  Lintott have supported the College in various ways including work experience for their students and participation in engineering course content and review.  Lintott staff have sat on HND Engineering Course review boards and are currently developing a programme of industrial experience visits for National and Higher National Diploma students.

Schools – Lintott have a programme of providing regular work experience for pupils from local Schools and Colleges which creates community awareness for career paths within engineering.
