Lintott helps to cultivate budding talent
As a matter of Corporate Policy, Lintott Control Systems is committed to working with the local educational community. This includes helping to mentor students through the transfer of knowledge and key skills.
On 7th October 2011, the Company welcomed a group of sixth-form students from Hellesdon High School.
As part of their BTEC Business Studies coursework, the group arrived armed with questions covering numerous topics. This included the economy, stakeholder overview, management structure and political, legal, social and technological factors.
Jamie Thums, Operations Director, gave the students an overview of the Lintott Business followed by chairing the questions and answers session.

The students were then taken on a tour of the Company's Bowthorpe design and manufacturing facilities. This included a demonstration of the Company's cutting-edge 3-Dimensional software used throughout the design process.
Following the visit, Jamie commented "The Company seeks to develop talent and expertise, which is not only vital to the prosperity and future success of the Company, but also the local economy. This includes support for educational establishments as well as the development of the Company's award winning Modern Apprenticeship Scheme. Through such initiatives, we endeavour to foster the next generation of budding business and engineering talent."
